They have delicious, fresh food. I've had the sushi and the soba noodles and both were great. Very friendly service.

Love sushi here. The sushi chef is from Japan. lunch time is crowded. Very small place.

Great little japanese restaurant owned by a lovely couple

Slow service, expensive and not much of a choice. Sushi chef is old and slow, plus he was watching the TV while making the sushi. There was only two other tables.

Nice relaxing atmosphere.Lunch set combos are pretty good.Salmon Teriyaki is delicious. Tonkatsu is quite often very good as well.

I'm astonished at the quality of the fish for the price they ask. My Sushi Lunch A was absolutely delicious. $15 for nigiri, makimono, salad, and soup. The maki had generous amounts of fish, and the salmon and shrimp were so soft and fresh. Very sweet waitress and a nice Japanese chef. The place filled up quickly at lunchtime and I can see why - it's a very fair price for such excellent sushi.*edit*I've been back here many times and I've loved everything on their menu: eel, katsu, curry, teriyaki, it's all amazing!

My girlfriend and I came here on a spontaneous dinner date only to find that we've discovered a small gem of a restaurant run by a husband and wife duo. The wife waited the tables and the husband is the chef.Quality sushi served at the chef's standards, but because he is only 1 person, food tends to come slowly.Recommended to book in advance with more than 2 people. Great place for conversation while waiting for the food.Will definitely come again.

Run by a nice Japanese chef and his wife, authentic sushi lovingly prepared. Not your usual commercial joint. Go there if you don’t mind paying a little bit more and have time to get real Japanese sushi. The hamachi is directly flown from Japan

Service slow. Quality was good. A bit expensive but it worth.

Small hole in the wall family owned restaurant. The husband makes the sushi and wife is the server. The gyoza are hand made including the dumpling wrap. Sushi was fresh and very well quality. Since this is a smaller restaurant with the owners working they sometimes have family emergency that causes them to close but they always post it on the door. Including when they go back to Japan to visit family. I would highly recommend this place. Everything we had was delicious.

Amazing little Japanese restaurant with the best sushi and flavours! After randomly finding out about this place been coming here on a regular basis now. Out of all the sushi places I've eaten at in the GTA, which is quite a few, this is for me definitely the #1 place. It's run by a very friendly mom-and-pop couple who pay supreme attention to detail which greatly elevates the food and overall experience. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is only run by 2 people so be patient for the food - it's well worth it!

Small family-style Japanese restaurant. Sure, speed isn't their strength but you will get to experience one of the most enjoyable dinners in a small cozy environment with down-to-earth chef/service. Most of the patrons that frequent Inhao know one another and are friends with Oke San and Michelle. The Chirashi Dong is my favorite. They sometimes have really amazing secret menu items like Toro (I had the fortune of having it only twice in my 15 years of going there), Shabu-Shabu, steamed eggs and a Chinese/Japanese style cold noodle served only during the summers. Their maki's are good too, I always ask for extra greens in the maki's. Authentic, simply good little-hole-in-a-wall place.

Lunch portion is small. $50 for a sushi and sushi boat is a rip off as u only get the basic salmon and cucumber. Fish is not even fresh. Will not go again.

Went at around 7 PM on a Tuesday evening after work. Small, quiet place but very cozy. The menu is fairly varied, however the prices were on the higher end. My family ordered 2 Box 1 and an Udon, it took 20ish minutes for everything to arrive, however the quality was pretty spectacular.Overall pretty happy even if the price was a bit high.

Run by husband-wife duo.. Sashimi is fresh and was very good, but the price is way too expensive. 3 pieces of the yellowtail sashimi was $8! The pieces were really thick, though.

Prices raised up very much ( 40%- 50% suddenly ) with same quality and same small quantity since from 2014 JUL . Does not make you full, still hungry eat after ! it's very expensive now ( e.g. for lunch, a small bowl of rice covered with 2 kinds of very thin Sashimi is $20 + tax and tips ). The increase in price is definitely not proportional to increase in quality/quantity of food or service. It's triple the price for the same thing eaten in Japan . I and many of my friends will not visit again !! >0<

Average and very pricey. Two lunch combos, one drink and appetizer totalled $55. Portion size was small. For that price, I should have just headed over to an AYCE place.

With one eye on the cutting board and the other eye on his TV watching Japanese drama the sushi chef appears slow and old. You must have top patience for your ordered food (approximately 30 minutes). Frankly, fresh fish served by the restaurant isn't so fresh anymore when compared to their previous! People over there are nice though.

Authentic Japanese style Japanese food. For those who don't know, most Japanese restaurants in Toronto are Korean or Chinese run, and cook food differently. Quality is pretty good. Better quality Japanese food in Toronto usually cost a lot more.

We got mostly the cooked foods. Salmon teriyaki, and beef teriyaki. The beef one looked good with a pretty sizable portion of meat. The salmon was very small was burnt and quite pricy for what you get. We probably should've got sushi and sashimi because that did look pretty good when we saw it served to other people. Also because it's only a husband wife duo, the wife cooks and serves so service was extremely slow. Took us 50 minutes from ordering to actually getting food.

This is a small Japanese restaurant that is family operated. Not much seating here- around thirty to forty seats. They !make great food, their sushi and the sashimi is fresh. They make very traditional japanese styls food. But they only open for dinner and they’re closed on Sundays. Since the restaurant is operated by family, not much staff here. You need to be patient to wait your food.

It's a small unassuming place hiding amazing sushi. The chef had an excellent source for his fish, which clearly makes a difference in the taste and quality of the food. The rice is ideally seasoned. Combined with the fish, it's easily done of the best sushi I've had in the GTA.

Please order before to go. And take more than 2hour for dinner.

Decent sushi and sashimi but expected better based on reviews. Entrees come up miso soup, salad and small scoop ice cream. Good service esp for only one server for approx 30 seats.

Best Japanese family restaurant in Richmond Hill! The quality of the food is top notch as the chief has high standard requirement when ordering fish from the wholesalers.

The service was a bit slow but sashimi 's quality was definitely above avg. If you are not in a rush and don't mind paying a bit extra then this is the place for you

I don't quite get the high rating for this restaurant. We ordered a sushi platter and a tempura udon. The tempura is not really tempura, but it's Chinese deep Fried shrimps instead, and even comes with Chinese bok Choi in the noodle ! Sushi is comparable to what you get from MacSushi at food courts. It isn't terrible, but it's very subpar for a Japanese sushi restaurant. And then you consider the price, it's very average food court Japanese food for a pretty steep price. There are lots of much better choices in Richmond hill / Markham area IMHO.

The dragon roll and the udon are my go to thing here. It is run by a Japanese couple, and they do everything so it can be slow at time but it is worth the wait for quality food. If you want a decent japanese meal and not in rush then this is your place.Btw the torched salmon sushi is delicious, it melts in your mouth.

I came near the end of lunch a half hour before the restaurant was closed. The food taste really good for the price, the restaurant is a small family owned store. The wife is the server and the chef is her husband, the owner is Japanese and taste quite authentic. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was good but small portions. Sushi and sashimi pieces are small. I ordered a bowl of seafood udon for almost $10 and only got one tempura shrimp one piece of meat and a mushroom. Service was ok but slow because there was one person working outside.
